Website Redesign
Website Redesign for Small Businesses
You already have a website. It works, more or less — but it no longer reflects the standard of your business, and it doesn't bring in the enquiries it should.
A redesign keeps what's working, replaces what isn't and rebuilds the site around a clear journey from first visit to enquiry. If you're starting from nothing instead, our small business web design service is the better fit.
Common problems
What we usually find on an outdated website.
Most redesigns we take on share the same handful of issues.
It looks dated
Old layouts, stretched images and styling that belongs to a previous decade. Visitors read that as a business that has stood still.
Mobile is an afterthought
Text that needs pinching to read, buttons too small to tap and menus that misbehave — on the device most of your visitors use.
Nobody can find anything
Too many menu items, unclear labels and key services buried three clicks deep.
The messaging is vague
Pages that talk about the business rather than the customer, so visitors never quite work out whether you're right for them.
There's no clear next step
No obvious enquiry path, a contact page hidden in the footer, or a form that asks for far too much.
It's slow or technically tired
Heavy pages, outdated plugins and no maintenance, which affects both the experience and how the site is crawled.
Worth it?
Should you redesign your website?
Not every site needs replacing. Sometimes a few pages and clearer messaging are enough. These are the practical signs a redesign is likely to be worthwhile.
- You hesitate before sending someone your website link
- Your website no longer matches your branding or your prices
- Enquiries come mostly from social or word of mouth, never the site
- You can't update it yourself without asking someone
- It was built more than four or five years ago
- Competitors' sites look and feel more current than yours
- It doesn't reflect services you've added since launch
- You've changed who you serve, but the site hasn't caught up
If two or three of these sound familiar, send us your website address and we'll tell you honestly whether a redesign is worth the spend.

FAQs
Website redesign questions.
Practical answers before you commit to anything.
How much does a website redesign cost?
It depends on how much of the existing site can be kept. A focused refresh of a small site costs less than a full rebuild with new structure and copy. We quote every redesign individually after reviewing the current site — see the pricing page for the starting frameworks.
How long does a redesign take?
Most website redesigns can be completed in under a week. The timeline mainly depends on how quickly we receive the content, feedback and approvals needed to keep the project moving.
Can I keep my existing content and images?
Yes. We review what you already have, keep what still works, rewrite what doesn't read well and flag any images that are too low quality to reuse.
Will a redesign affect my SEO?
It can, which is why we plan for it. We keep existing URLs where sensible, redirect anything that changes, carry over page titles and descriptions, and resubmit your sitemap. We can't promise ranking improvements — but we can avoid the avoidable losses.
Do I need to change my domain name?
No. Your domain stays exactly as it is. We can also move hosting across or leave it where it is, whichever is simpler for you.
